They are defending the memories and sacrifice of men who served in the 3rd Arkansas in the ANV and Cleburnes division of the Army of Tennessee. Brave soldiers who defended their home and family against a Lincoln invasion.
And against thugs that you probably support that want to destroy every aspect of the nation that you say he hates.

If you actually knew anything about history then you would know that most of these confederate were only erected half a century or more later as part of coordinated propaganda campaign by the UDC and similar groups. Who aside from funding monuments to traitors of the USA, also succeeded in changing the narrative surrounding the civil war and the motives of the confederacy in school history textbooks across the south.
They were literally trying to change history, and you're defending their disinformation campaign by claiming the opposite
