He said it is coming down. Don't bring a stick to a gun fight and he would shoot anyone that tries to stop them. He called us "crackers" out.

I'm heading down with a group of 5. Hopefully we have a strong law and order back the blue turnout. We are going with pepper spray, tasers, and guns for protection.

Now he's saying they'll go after it Monday when they got to go to their jobs. Say he don't want to kill them, he wants to kill their culture like they been doing everybody else.

I was in Lee Circle in New Orleans in 2017 to defend the statue of Robert E. Lee.

Not celebrating enemies that this country went to war with by not having statues of them isn't erasing, dumbass.

The only dumbass in this thread is you, who has zero concept of what life would have been like for the average American in the early 1860's. I'm guessing 95% of the population had zero concept of the United States as a strong, centralized nation. The only interaction many of them had with any federal agency was the post office. Where I live, the closest federal courthouse and offices were 45 miles away, which would have been a 2 to 3 day journey for anyone wealthy enough with a carriage to take them that far, which again were a tiny few. Most people in this country in 1860 lived and died in the same little corner of their state that they were born in and grew up in.

So I ask, why would the average Southerner fight for something or someone they barely knew or didn't know at all? In 1860, you were a South Carolinian or a Virginian before you were an American. And if some entity hundreds of miles away invaded your territory with the intent to subdue you and yours, how would you react?

They didn’t take it down while I was there. Getting to see the antifa up close though was enlightening. And the people on the right for that matter. Most the antifa are just drug addict degenerates and the mentally ill. Pitiful characters. And then the right had some crackpot types as well. Only the craziest of the crazies end up fighting....they seek each other out.

Hey dumbass. I give you the words of the Greatest division commander of either side of the war. A proud adopted soldier from Arkansas.

“Every man should endeavor to understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late… It means the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern schoolteachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the war; will be impressed by the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit objects for derision… It is said slavery is all we are fighting for, and if we give it up we give up all. Even if this were true, which we deny, slavery is not all our enemies are fighting for. It is merely the pretense to establish sectional superiority and a more centralized form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties.”
Maj. General Patrick R. Cleburne, CSA, January 1864

And your talking point regarding the statues. The vast majority of them were constructed soon after the war, and around the 50th anniversary of the war and around the 100th anniversary of the war. See your bullshite talking point that you heard from the MSM is fake news.
