The knife and the tarp are no brainers to me.

3- would be the pot vs the water purifier

For #4 I could go several ways..the boat would be helpful in getting off the island...could use the tarp as a sail.

Or while fire isn’t impossible, having matches would sure help

But that first aid kit looks like it has a lot of different stuff in it which could serve multiple purposes.

Fine

Sit there with Larry, bored out of your skull, hungry as hell.

I’m taking that catamaran to your mom’s house.

Knife
First Aid kit
Saw
Matches

The knife for self-defense and hunting (including making spears).
The first aid kit because it's definitely something better to have and not need than need and not have.
The saw to cut trees for shelter and fire.
The matches for fire.

Water, food, shelter are the big three. Several ways to go.

Knife is No. 1 because it can make or help make other items. Protection, skinning, cleaning, chopping, digging, etc.

Pot is second because it cannot be made or replaced by other items. It can capture water for drinking, cooking, cleaning, sterilizing, melting ... and, of course, boiling crabs and shrimp.

Tent if it is the modern kind with netting (for fishing) and tarp-type material. Can also capture or channel water.

After that it’s a toss up but I would go with unlimited matches because I’m too lazy to be rubbing sticks together. Fire not only for cooking but for all of life’s needs really.

Be ready to eat a lot of bugs and tubers until you learn how to catch fish or build traps. A man with normal or above normal body fat (most Americans) can go about 21+ days without food — hunger disappears in four days. But you need water a lot, particularly when food is scarce. Alas, cuts and broken bones would probably kill you within a year — then that first aid kit would have been nice or those vitamins.

Now, if there are natives on the island then just load up on the weed and trade for everything else you need, including pussy.

Knife
Tarp
Weed if it has seeds to grow more. If not then the first aid kit

ETA. Obviously the weed if seeds are available is a huge multi resource. You have quite a few medicinal uses of course. But the bush can be used in many ways if the seeds are available.

The next one is tough without knowIng the circumstances of the island. It is between a fishing pole and the boots. Is there a natural food source (fruit, game)? What is the terrain like? I’m leaning fishing pole here, but jacked up feet with dirt and sand everywhere sounds like a slow, painful death.

Rifle-protection/hunting, matches-fire, pot-cooking/boiling water, tent-keeping away from insects is huge. Goal would be to build a fire big enough to signal someone.

I can't believe the retards that wouldn't select the flare gun, It would be my first choice.

Water purifier
Matches
fishing rod unless there were animals on the island then I would take the gun.

This is the correct answer providing you know how to make fire (without matches).....
