Positivity rate and hospitalizations continue to rise, albeit the latter at a pretty slow rate

Since the new positives were not high I guess the media will talk about hospitalizations today

There are a couple of negative aspects to today's numbers. However, the outbreak is still clearly manageable in Louisiana.

bout to get back to that phase 1 baw. shut down them bars. reassurants at 25%, protest, riots, walmarks, home depots wide open

One of the lowest two day deaths (14) since the pandemic began.

9.9% positive isn’t good. However, if the deaths don’t start to uptick soon, it’s going to look like this is really transmissible but not all that deadly to the young.

Especially with only 8,000 total tests today, Tuesday’s bump is going to be fricking massive.

Are the hospital numbers including people who are in for another reason but are testing positive for covid?

Again, why just majority from this week? Why not the actual fricking %

Why isn't anyone "in charge" talking about the death rate and how it's dropped like a rock? I mean I don't want anyone to have to be hospitalized with this but I still wonder if they're not putting people in for "observation" that they in late March/early April would have told to "quarantine at home and good luck".

Highest number of hospitalized since 5/28...

I'm thinking YES but who truly knows??

Yeah but still about 1/3 of our peak hospitalization. EASILY manageable.
