Thats why the message from our govt leaders should be “protect the elderly in nursing homes. If you are fat and unhealthy stay home and social distance.”
But they would rather see everybody suffer and ruin economy

For impacts to the young the current military info might be useful:
Cases: 11,770
Hospitalized (total): 290
Deaths: 3
Most recent update was 1164 cases and 20 hospitalized.
Survival rate, among those hospitalized (currently 99%), I think, indicates they have a lot of precautionary hospitalizations.
Usual caveats: there are some older people still in active duty (not many), and there won’t be much in the way of comorbidities with this group.
Cases: 11,770

Friend of mine brought his daughter in because she had an ear infection, while there, she tested positive for Covid. Now, he and his family are on lockdown and thier vacation is ruined. He is rightfully pissed. Said his daughter ran a low grade fever for a day (probably due to the ear infection) and that was it, she was otherwise completely normal zero symptoms, its been a week and no one in his family is showing any symptoms at all. This is all bullshite.

That would be against HIPAA Rules

Also, hospitalization rate of active cases down from 7.7% to 5.1% and ventilator rate down from 1.0% to 0.5%. Using the presumed recovery numbers from LDH.

The unknown variable is double positives. You can subtract (deaths + recovered) from total cases and get the outer limit of active cases but it excludes double positives.
