Should you wear a mask...

I’m not gonna wear a mask. Before Covid, doctors threw away masks after every use. Now, we have servers, grocery workers, etc. wearing them all day or longer. It’s a Petri Dish you are wearing on your face. Think! Stop letting democrats/media think for you. It’s Dangerous!! Can you imagine what school kids masks will be like. If I were king of a healthy country, and I wanted to make people sick, I’d make everyone were masks!

I work in surgery, and have for many years.
The lifespan of a mask before this dumbshit was 4-6 hours.
Now you see tards riding around w masks on in their car. It's comical.

Quit thinking.
Just follow the crowd and occasionally bleet.

Wearing a mask shows you have absolutely no critical thinking skills.
None.
None.

Cloth masks is more dangerous to you than not wearing anything if you take in all of the factors associated.
N95 masks don't filter out exhaled air so you're still putting others at risk.
Surgical masks are designed for sterile environments and are useless after a few hours in everyday life.
Its all a farce.

I work in hospital as well. All mask out of dept. I watched our CEO walk down the hall with mask in hand only to put it on as she walked out the door and got into her Mercedes SUV (and driving away with it on).
We were required to mask when we had 1 active case on island and was diagnosed positive 4 weeks previously.
I thought the CDC said within 6 feet for 15 minutes was the suggestion. I watch people walking down the hall with no one around for >30 feet.

Unreal.
It's ridiculous at how the guidelines are constantly shifting, or blatantly disregarded.
The actual "real deal" N95 are still very limited, but imo will become the norm eventually, because of non-testing.
At this point, I'm afraid we will all have to deal with addition through subtraction.
Once everyone gets the virus and recovers, the numbers will go down.
That's until they tell us you can contract it more than once.

Might as well self bloody one's nose. Is more protection than a mask. Masks are for contaminated and sterile environments....we don't live in the latter and cannot prove the where's of the former without testing

Masks are like so much of "COVID" - 95% political, and 5% poor science.

Duck and cover was the same thing. It is just to give the general population of sheep something to do to make them feel better and sleep better at night.

If you’re immunocompromised, yes.

Currently, mandatory for employees. If you want to pay your bills, you do what the boss says (as far as it's safe). I harbor no delusions about the effectiveness or lack thereof, and outside of work I'm not wearing one.
I'm instead practicing safe and aware social distancing; give a little space to others. Steer clear of people coughing. It ISN'T the flu, it's worse, not going to get into that argument... but treat it like you do during flu season. If someone looks like shite in public, stay away from them. Try and remember to wash your hands before going to your face. When you go to the grocery store, might want to avoid the salad bar, and raw fresh veggies for awhile, especially the type that people handle (potatoes, tomatoes, etc).

Dumbass governor here in Washington made it mandatory state wide yesterday because one county far from Seattle has a rise in cases.
I have an exemption but haven't had to flex it once but now everywhere it's required.
We have to wear one into a restaurant but once seated you can take it off. So damn stupid.
