This comment is hilarious. You couldn’t hire an American at the wage you wanted so it is every available candidate that is wrong about their worth in the market.

I also asked about H2-A's earlier.
I imagine people would be less hardcore when it starts to effect the food on their table.

Again...did you miss the part where the current employees were mostly America?

Also to all you salary range geniuses out there....market studies aren't done on what candidates ask for it's done on what employees actually get hired at.
Just an FYI.
Just an FYI.

Americans who were previously screwed by this game.
If you had to hire new employees at the higher wage the market demanded then you would have had to provide a market adjustment to keep your other employees. They would have eventually found out they were underpaid.
The use of the visa program allowed you to anchor current employee earning power for no reason but to save your company money and screw US citizens.

It's flawed with the current abuse of the immigration system.

I just want to hear him admit that he refused to hire Americans so he could line his own pockets. That way, he can out himself as a piece of shite who games the system of suppressing wages via cheap foreign labor.

It's fairly clear that you don't know how the market works today.
Now if you disagree with how it works today then you can come up with a way to change it, present that to the group, and then we will discuss it.
Until then I don't know what to tell you other than you are wrong.

This never happened....I'd have been happy to hire America if they would work at the market rate.

Seems like that is an agenda item for Trump.

Good, but it's not a reason to open the gates during this bad economic time. Besides, the people that are pouring in are not trying to start Fortune 500 companies, they want free stuff.

Gonna be hard for him to get legal immigration changes through Congress if he can't even push illegal immigration through....assuming Congress stays the same makeup after the next election...and we know none of these changes will come up prior to Nov. 4

What are you saying? You stated you had numerous qualified candidates that all gave feedback that the market must be paying more than you are willing to pay.

Again that isn't how it works....the market study is done on what people actually get paid not what candidates want...otherwise every job would pay 1,000,000/year.

And this number stays suppressed because people like you will hire cheap foreign labor instead of equally qualified Americans who may ask for a few thousand more dollars a year.
I get it. You would rather line your own pockets just a tad bit more rather than invest in your country. It's similar to buying a Chinese product for $40 instead of paying $50 for the American made version of the same product. I just want to hear you admit it.

What?
You just said that qualified candidates would work for $75,000/year. If labor cost become too high then the company dies or innovates. More people will gravitate to the field if the industry is stable and wages increase.

The market rate.

That is correct...but they aren't employed yet (stay with me). The people that are currently employed in that position (at companies across the area) are working it on average in the 60K-65K range....that's the market salary range.

It’s clear employers lie to access cheap labor, like you.
