So, she and Syndicate were in a FWB relationship.

I'm so glad I'm married. That said, advice to my son, no hook ups and no fwb, find you a nice girl and be happy...
If he held her, then it's a shitty thing to do and I dont feel bad for him. That said, if you agree to have unprotected sex with someone then I dont have a whole lot of sympathy for you either...
Women and men are equally responsible in these situations. fricked up situation if true as told, and if it comes crashing down on the guy he would have earned it.
ETA: After thinking about it for a few minutes, I think it's at minimum sexual assault and at worst rape. If she tried to stop and he prevented her, then it's not defendable. The moment she rescinded her consent and he prevented her, then he crossed over into that territory.
