I had one. Tragically it was lost in a boating accident shortly after I purchased it. A real shame.

My uncle moved his family to Mississippi about 7-8 years ago on like 500 acres. Nearest neighbor is 5 miles away. They have like 2-3 AR’s with red dot scopes like the stuff you see on Call of Duty. Probably own 15-20 guns. They said the world is getting crazy, we just want to get away. Everyone thought they were nuts. Now they look like geniuses

I bought a 9mm assault hi point rifle for $170 at a gun show a long time ago. People can say what they want about hi points, but I could hit a can at 50 yards off my hip regularly, it never jammed once, and the 9 mm rounds are cheap.
I love that gun.

I have a couple of AR weapons and one AK-74 topped with a Russian sniper scope that's super awesome.
But in these times it's nice to know you have FN FAL with the heavy barrel and a thousand rounds at ones disposal they ain't never making it across that causeway... my mags have a friendly tracer round laced in every third round for fire and effect.
