Well-funded spoiled white kids, mostly from wealthy families, and predominately from ultra-white parts of the country who claim to be anti-fascists and proceed to act like fascists.

A lose confederation of fringe leftists and anarchist-type groups. Probably largely consisting of basement dwelling community college dropouts with no prospects and who weren't loved by their parents.
But some notables have been involved, including small time college professors and community activists. They come in, commit violence and get crowds into a frenzy. They don't do that shite in the southeast (unless backed up by angry hoardes) because the violent conduct they partake in in Portland would get their pencil necks snapped here.
They inappropriately brand themselves as anti-fascist and the lapdog media pretends there is some honor in their violence/chaos.
My guess is that large organizations on the far left (Tides Foundation, others) trickle money down into SJW organizations who then launder it more or less to various "antifa" groups.

I love the idea, but something's bothering me though. I'm just an old grumpy cynic, I can't help it. I seek to believe though.
"Unmasking" is a term most often used with FISA....Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. I don't think anyone's thinking of a foreign intelligence angle to this, less and except noted involvement of Soros. And of course the left is crying Russia, as usual. But I don't see just contacts with Soros being the basis for a mass unmasking involving Americans to Americans.
If not FISA per se, then Article III Judiciary Branch probable cause warrants would necessarily be involved in order to "tap their wires" or otherwise regular ole electronic data/communication interception. But I've never heard in those many, many instances over time indicate anything about "unmasking" or anything else that would be equivalent.
Help a guy out here.

It would be interesting to see them take down the Minnesota AG while he is potentially being called to be a special prosecutor in the George Floyd case.
