Who Was The First "Next Jordan" You Remember?

LINK
Saw this article on The Ringer where he searched for instances of the "Next Jordan" moniker. Some used it to compare directly to Jordan, while others used it to describe their potential impact on their sport.
Harold Miner, mentioned in the article, was my first one, and he even got/gave himself (I can't remember which)the Baby Jordan nickname
Who was the first player you remember earning that Next Jordan moniker?

Harold Minor first.
Then Grant Hill.
I remember hearing a story about Minor showing up to the NBA "combine" where they measure and weigh you. Minor was listed at 6'7" at USC. When he showed up to get measured, the NBA measured him at something like 6'3".
That same year, another "big time" player's college height was exaggerated.
Shaq came out that same year and hadn't been measured yet. Many of the scouts got nervous wondering if LSU had exaggerated Shaq's height at 7'0". They were relieved when he measured in at 7'1".

frick Isiah Rider. I was a kid when this all went down, but I seem to remember that he was supposed to be the focal point of the Hawks rebuild after the Mookie/S.Smith era came to an end.

It was Minor.

Harold Miner was a little bit before my time. For me it's Kobe, I remember the comparisons being pretty frequent. Someone with a lot of time on their hands even made a video (probably somewhere on Youtube) where they showed side by side clips of MJ and Kobe executing the same maneuvers. The video was quite long and taken by itself, you could make a compelling argument that their games looked really similar.
I don't know that anyone has or ever will dominate the way Jordan did. Lebron is close. The only other play I can think of is from another sport, Wayne Gretzky - dude was not just one step ahead of his generation, he was about 20 steps ahead. His records are mind-blowing.

Minor was first I remember, but grant hill was the only one I remember in the late 90s that actually deserved the moniker.
Dude was amazing until the injury and subsequent infection.

Harold Minor had the nickname but it was based on his dunking and not expectations of him as a pro.
He had great college stats but I don’t think he was expected to be a true superstar.
Next Jordans I remember: Grant Hill, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, LeBron, and OJ Mayo
