Watched Andrei jikh Video, Andrei jikh YouTube
he seems to believe this market is gonna crash, and that the fed is only propping up this market to help out baby boomers because they are the ones with the most money in the market right now, and that once baby boomers start pulling there money out of market and retiring, the market is going to drop significantly, and that young people should put there money in gold and crypto.
im 30 so I'm still relatively young, do y'all see any truth in this or do y'all think he is just trying to sell people on crypto. I've looked into crypto before and don't really trust it, but I have bought a couple of share of barrick gold, and I'm thinking about putting more money in that, just wanted to run it by yall first

On a long enough timeline, he'll be correct.

I'll give you three guesses as to what this guy holds in his portfolio.

Buying a gold mining company is not the same thing as buying gold.

Let me in on the joke, I'm trying to figure out what I should do, should I just keep most of my money in stocks, or start selling my stocks and buying gold and crypto?

If the entire American economy crashes for an entire generation gold and crypto will be worthless.
If you’re legitimately worried that the entire American economic system is going to collapse go stock up on farming supplies and bullets

The bears are getting desperate now. Articles like this give me more confidence.
Oh and go ahead with crypto, good luck with that. We just got through the type of event that people have been claiming was going to bring crypto to the forefront, and what happened? No ones keeping their money in a worthless currency that you can't use in a time of crisis. Im still of mind that bitcoin is a giant pyramid scheme aimed at dumb millennials. I got into crypto a little in 2018 and the more removed I am from that time, the more stupid it all seems, only people making real money (funny how we still judge it by the REAL currency right?) off bitcoin are the people who were there in the beginning.

Young people should invest in stocks.
If the stock market doesn't recover, they're screwed anyway.

I’m 25. I am currently buying stocks I believe in long-term that have strong balance sheets. At our age, a market crash should not concern you too much in regards to your stock portfolio unless you own a company that may go under.
If the economy hasn’t recovered by the time we retire, we’ll all be dead or communist.
Here’s 5 stocks I have that I will hold through the whole crisis:
Amazon (AMZN)
Brookfield Asset Management (BAM)
Walmart (WMT)
Western Alliance (WAL)
Discover (DFS)
I also hold etfs like SPY, SPHD, and SPYD

This is not financial advice, but please sell all of your stock and invest in only gold and cryto. Please report back every 3 months with what you pulled everything out of and what you invested in. Thanks.

Gold is never a bad investment. Only a matter of time before we move from our current fiat money system and back to a gold based dollar.
I wouldn't touch crypto.

Dividend stocks are especially good at your age so try to grab them whenever possible. You can reinvest the dividends for extra growth.

So you bought high? Lmao since it crashed down to 4kish it went back up to 6.5-7.5k. You could’ve made plenty Of money entering crypto in 2019 and 2020. Some major companies are accepting crypto payments nowadays. Also BTC halving coming up, in a few months til gain more value. But you shouldn’t be buying crypto bc you think the US market will crash. In fact it seems to track the market relatively decently. But Boomers like you should probably leave the money to be made in crypto to the ‘dumb millennials’.

I am a millennial, early 30s. I actually never lost money on bitcoin. I had 3 wallets that had remnants of transfers to sports betting sites in like 2013 that ended up being around $1000 after that bubble, I lost that playing around with other currencies but I never actually put more dollars into it. Had a roommate who "traded crypto", was actually doing very well for himself when he moved out before it really crashed. Last time I checked with him was late 2019 and he still had alot in crypto and hated himself for it.
I've done very well in equities since then, and its actual real things, with value and not strictly just pyramids, charts, and timing. So I'm cool with it, good luck to you, glad to hear it seems you got your timing right. Maybe I'm ignorant, but somehow I don't think it will impact my life that much.
