Even after losing all her money she married some rich guy.

There is a huge push in Silicone Valley for someone other than a straight white male to succeed in the Tech world. Facts or competencies be damned
One of the truest statements I've ever seen in here.

Amazing how a young split tail with only 2 semesters of college scammed people out of millions of dollars.
She knew all of the right people, she was marginally attractive and she's probably a sociopath. She fed them the right line of BS and they wanted to believe it.
I really don't think she's all that different from a lot of billionaires that actually make it as far as crossing ethical boundaries. I think the majority of them commit fraud at some point. Her scamming was just her way of business, and not a means to an legitimate end.

That voice
Was fake. She did it to have a more masculine voice because she thought people would take her more serious... By sounding like she had a sense of authority.

If she doesn't go to prison
She's 100% going to do time. This was beyond just a white-collar scam. She was putting people's health in jeopardy.

The CEOs of 3 of the 4 biggest tech companies in the world are two Indian-Americans and a gay guy from Alabama

There is a gigantic list of non-white males in high tech.

She should 100% do time, but I have a feeling if she does it will not be much time at all. Her boyfriend at the time should do time as well, he was just as guilty as she was, but I have a feeling her side will argue that it was a failed business which she made bad decisions and that those in invested in Theranos did so knowing the risk or some bullshite like that.

I think she'll get several years, but only serve like 6 months. The rest of the time will be house arrest.

I wonder how long it will take her new husband to learn she only married him for the money?

It justs shows how gullible people are. She's cringy. Needs to be in jail. Isn't fraud a criminal offense.

According to Wiki ole girl is set for trial in August
In June 2018, a federal grand jury indicted Holmes and former Theranos chief operating officer Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani on nine counts of wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud for distributing blood tests with falsified results to consumers.[7][8] A trial is set to begin in August 2020

This is true and I think non-white Americqn males have plenty of success in tech but how many of those founded the company they oversee?
