I am not sure Kendall was even the best Beckwith to play middle linebacker at LSU. For my money I will take Derry.

Darry was better for sure.

I forgot Kendall was on the team sometimes, he disappeared so much. Kid should have been an edge player tbh

Leonard Marshall was an amazing linebacker at LSU and also won 2 Super Bowls with the New York Giants.

I’ll throw Lionel Turner’s name in the mix. He came on strong at the end of his college career.

Lionel Turner hitting the truck stick on “all-universe” QB Jason White to seal the natty is my favorite moment from that game

Leonard was a defensive lineman, but he was amazing.

Minter definitely had the best LB performance I have seen with 20 tackles in a loss vs Florida in 2012

We were actually winning that game and then Minter got hurt, it was all over after that. Another game vs Florida where Odell had a wide open td and Matt Elam ran all way and caught up with him and forced a fumble and the rest was history.

Same game I believe. We fell apart after the obj fumble. Only reason it was as close as it was is because KM channeled the spirit of Terry Tate office linebacker and went nuts for three quarters
