going to be using the place for another 50-100 years
From one of the recent inspections I heard they expect the stadium only has ~50 years left because it is sinking quickly due to the low, moist ground it’s built on.

IMO the "expansion" era is over. LSU can't fill 102,000 seats regularly as is it. There's no sense in adding capacity. I mean look at Alabama who's had a remarkable 10 year stretch of success and even they're having to battle attendance decline and are reducing capacity of their stadium in favor of more premium seating.
With that in mind, any renovation to Tiger Stadium has to be a "quality over quantity" situation. Something that provides more bang for the buck you spend. Not just value wise but an enhancement of the auxiliary gameday experience at Tiger Stadium. Better bathrooms, renovated concourses with a better concession experience. I think eventually we'll see a lower bowl renovation that adds chair back seats in place of the bleachers.
If you look at modern stadium builds/renovations, a current trend is a focus on social areas. Standing room tickets in an open patio area that offers a bar and dining option. Think like, The "Walk-Ons Sports Bistreaux Patio" or something to that effect. I also wonder about the possibilities of something like field box suites. Those are also trendy and command a premium price. No idea on the footprint requirements and if it's even feasible. Just tossing some ideas out there.

I'd totally eliminate the ability to use the internet anywhere in the stadium. Three fricking hours. Put your fricking phone away and focus on the fricking game for three fricking hours. You don't need to see highlights or scores. Concentrate on what is happening on the field for four quarters. Watch TGBFTL at half-time. Three fricking hours.
Agreed except for the internet stance. Emergencies happen and people need to be able to use their phones in those situations. But I go to watch LSU play football, not have a $5 trash hotdog

For anyone who went to the SECCG/Peach Bowl, MBS set's the damn mark. Excellent bathrooms, cheap and decent food (with free refills), and free wifi.
Televisions in the pisser are a revelation.

Closing in the remainder of the North end zone maybe?

If they don’t have at least 75 mill of this money carved out for the PMAC, I’m gonna lose what’s left of my brain.

Yeah, the PMAC needs the upgrades. Basketball ops as well, Bernie Moore plus a new natatorium one day

Major renovations to TS were to begin at conclusion of 2021 season.
If all they were going to do was renovate the suites then frick dem... They need to put some world class wifi in the stadium for one.

Abate the Asbestos in the old dorm rooms and change the areas for restaurant type concessions with huge bathrooms. There’s South, East and North Dorms.
Weren't the South dorms already demolished to make the concourse on that end?

Not sure, but that would’ve been a major Asbestos Abatement. Don’t recall reading anything about that and never saw a bid for abatement by any contractor or the State. There’s still glass doors down there.

Make my cell phone work during the game

How about spending that money where it’s needed, on the PMAC Basketball and Baseball. Tiger stadium is much too big already and doesn’t need anymore. It’s an aging actress who keeps getting Botox.

The lower bowl of TS and and PMAC are most pressing.
Box needs work, but the other two are higher priority IMO.

Going to need a girthier glory hole in the South endzone.
Thanks Scott.
Thanks Scott.

Tiger Stadium is not adding seats at this time
Yeah, that would be a bad idea.
Honestly, I don't know if any expenditures on Tiger Stadium are a good idea from a cost standpoint.
