The business community will end up sitting JBE down. I wouldn't worry about him. Now, as far as the economy in New Orleans? New Orleans is probably the least hard working city in the U.S. as is. I can imagine the economy in New Orleans will be terrible and they'll be looking for another federal bailout.

FFS Honor Code. When President Trump comes out end of next week and tells the country to get back to work, you’re gonna get run out of Baton Rouge if this is your only response.

over 8500 test results completed in the state.
1,388 in Louisiana tested positive so far

This hospitalized number isn’t remotely fricking accurate at all. I say this as an employee of a large health system in Louisiana

maybe, i'll just change it, i can't understand this dude all the time

Almost 24% of the total deaths in Louisiana, and 55% of the total deaths in Orleans, have come out of Lambeth House.
They are skewing the figures so badly right now, both on a Parish, Regional and State Level.

Testing positive doesn't mean they need to be taking up hospital beds either, maybe 5% of that 271 but that wouldn't help the narrative.

Well, don't keep us in suspense. Is it high or low?

People are saying not nearly the amount of people are hospitalized as we are being led to believe

Would you suggest this in Italy or Spain?
I have no clue. How is that question relevant in any way?
The United States is not anywhere close to being analogous to either of those nations...for pretty much any metric.

We have surpassed spain and are on pace to surpass Italy in total cases. By Easter we will most likely have the most cases in the world. How are we different from Spain and Italy?

For starters? We have no less than 6 times the population of either country. We have far less population density than either country. We have a vastly different demographic makeup than either country.
Total cases is a completely useless comparison
ETA: oh, I forgot to add

It’s astronomically high

We caught spain in like 2 weeks. the accuracy of the numbers don’t really matter. They were in the same place as we are now a few weeks ago. Now they have to send home people over 60 yrs old because the hospitals would rather spend their sources on the young who have a chance to survive.
And while most of our country isn’t densely populated places like New York are.
