Let's see what the good governor has to say LINK

1252 in hospitals 271 positive 981 tested and waiting for results

46 deaths 1388 total cases

Stay at home still in effect

Talking about filling out Census forms now. Guess we can all go back to work?

3rd highest case count per capita in country

over 8500 test results completed up from 6000 yesterday

JBE theorizing mardi gras contributed to widespread cases here because first positive test 13 days after fat tuesday

no idea if LA will be able to reopen in 3 weeks for business not confident in economy bouncing back

schools still not called off for rest of year

Lambeth House deaths up to 11 (42 total cases there)

It's weird that JBE is giving an update with a good governor.

So 981 people have been admitted to the hospital on suspicion of corona but haven't tested positive yet?

Probably not the best time do the census.

271 definitely positive plus an estimated 60% of 981 tested for a total of 859(est.) hospitalized with CV.
How does that compare with what that model had predicted if we did a 3 month lockdown?

To add on: How many of this number were already hospitalized, recently hospitalized, or where in hospice care already?

In other words, are these newly ill patients or chronically ill ones?

You can fill it out online, it takes about 10 minutes.

This cannot and will not happen. After Easter, we have to find a path forward that includes at the very least a return to ordinary socio-economic activity

After all, the effectiveness of business shite downs is questionable whenever everyone is still piling up in the grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, etc.

There are very few things that require less brain cells and effort than spending 5 minutes answering factual questions about whether or not you are alive and how many people live in your house.

And there it is. He's not going let go of his power. He will do everything in his power to extend this past the 13th.

No, they've been tested and are sent home to self-quarantine to wait for test results. If their tests come back positive, they stay at home unless their symptoms gets so bad they need to be hospitalized.

Would you suggest this in Italy or Spain?

Almost 25% of our deaths come from one nursing home.

So in 4 nursing homes now

They have been closed to visitors since 3/11 per the state

Maybe if the state required the staff to wear gloves while they serves meals & meds the residents wouldn’t be catching it
