I’ve cancelled all in person meetings. All material is either dropped off in a lock box outside, mailed or emailed in. My staff is scaled back to only 5 employees in the office at one time. If more than that is required to stop the spread than nothing outside of locking us inside our homes will do.

You’ll be able to continue if these are the precautions you’re taking.

Had a similar call but blaming nola for being in the middle a huge tourism weekend at peak outbreak is a bit outrageous. You northern fricks never seem to have a problem accepting the tax revenues brought in by Mardi Gras/Jazz Fest/Super Bowls/Saints.
NOLA got this virus because people from out of town brought it here. No one from out of town wants to visit anywhere else in the state.

Would pulling a boat full of fishing poles be a giveaway?

Oh okay so it's not really a lockdown.
This is what's known as the Italian lockdown, not the Wuhan lockdown.
You see how useful the Italian lockdown was, over 600 deaths today letting people make their groceries.
China's lockdown barricading tunnels not letting people out of their apartments for a month, now no new cases, no new deaths.

Didn't the Q thread warn us a couple of months ago that something big was on the way. That we should have enough food for a couple of weeks or months to ride out the crisis. Martial law was mentioned also. Correct?

Something big has been on the way in the Q thread for about 3 years now.

So my small CPA firm has to close? I would think I’m pretty essential right now as I am keeping the revenue flowing to the people via tax refunds and helping clients fill out SBA loans. But hey, if good ole JBE thinks I should close he can go frick himself.
We are in an office building, and we have had conversations with the building management. Getting the impression that if our parish gets "sheltered in place", that they will basically lock the building and tell us we can come and go as needed to get files, but no more than one or two at a time. All HVAC would be turned off.

What is the point of this post? Why do you have such a negative attitude?

And now it has. I heard from a good source to gas up today. This state is being run by a Democrat. Prepare for harsh measures. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconusaflagsmiley.gif)

Don't need to enforce it...where the frick else are you going if everything but grocery stores and doctors are closed???
Many small offices don’t want to close.
