With Amazon limiting their shipping to products of an essential nature, GameStop is one of the only options left for people to purchase and play Final Fantasy VII Remake when it releases on April 10. It's either that or digital download.

Digital is the future and is WAY more efficient than physical copies. The people that want to keep physical games around are hampering progress because they want to be able to sell their shite for $3 to Gamestop

Spoken like a true sheep.

I’ll keep my physical games thank you very much. Physical media has always and will always be better for the consumer. I have no financial incentive to buy digital when it costs the same as having a physical copy in my hands.

I pre-ordered my copy digitally. It's going to take a while to download, however, as the file is over 100 GB in size.

Well, I fought going to CD's on music... you can imagine my distrust for digital music in the beginning...

it is essential. you can buy most games for Switch in the estore but this is a damned good time for someone to spring clean their home or play Zelda Twilight Princess on an old WiiU system.

true but there is nothing better than playing a Zelda game on an old system you didn't get to because you weren't retired.

Doom Eternal released today. Final Fantasy VII Remake doesn't release until April 10th.
What is the best 3D RPG for a Zelda lover? Witcher? Elder Scrolls?

OceanHorn1 is good but OceanHorn2 is only available on Apple arcade...

If there's any store other than pharmacies and grocery stores that is essential in a time when people are supposed to stay in doors as much as possible, it is a store that sells products that provide hundreds of hours of entertainment without venturing outdoors. Heck, as soon as businesses started shutting down, my first stop, before even going to Wal-Mart to shitlord tp, was to Gamestop to buy a couple used games for my ps4 to play while on lockdown.

I say something to my kid...or mainly my wife when we are in arcades. I spent my teen years in the eighties, perfecting my reaction skills on video games so that when we had kids, I can win them tons of prizes.

It's as "essential" as liquor stores and abortion clinics (definitely more than the latter).

are you sure you aren't 76 years old sitting on your porch yelling for the kids to stop making noise?

Digital is a horrible idea. You don't actually own the games.
