The curse of General Lee is upon New Orleans

His statue came down in May, 2017. Since then we have had three unexplainable Saints playoff losses, S&WB foulups of a whole new level, the Hard Rock hotel collapse, dangling legs, and now one of the highest CV-19 infection rates in the country.

is the curse of 300 years of corrupt politics

Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lee.

Because Lee, the person spent sooooo much of his life in New Orleans other than a brief stint in the late 1840's at Jackson Barracks before going to Mexico.
Beauregard is a different story. His engineering of the levees has kept New Orleans in existence.

Leave his statue down

Lee would have never condoned any of this and probably would have agreed his statue should come down.

And I'm sure that has nothing to do with the fact that NO is one of the most visited places in the world. But thanks for sharing your idiocy with the board.

Didn’t Lee himself say that statues and tributes to the confederacy were a bad idea?

Don't forget that General Lee didn't like Big Lee from Metairie and had him killed.

Then I guess it's pretty ironic that, so far, the virus has only killed the white landed gentry.

Don’t forget 2 Mardi Gras parade deaths when hasn’t happened in decades.

Why didn't I think of this earlier. Lee is a popular Chinese name. Li is also the name of the Chinese whistleblower who tried to alert the world about the virus. The dots are starting to connect.
