Don't expect Myles Brennan to be back for 2021

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Brennan put together the second-best season ever by an LSU QB this year, and be a first-round pick in the 2021 draft. The future is bright.

I can see him put up 40 TDs next year easy with the weapons at his disposal.

You may on to something here. LSU has figured out that this is the place where someone can have one good to great season and then leave. Got it.

Maybe he wants to win 2 Heismans!

This would be best case for sure. If he is talking about leaving then Brennan and the Tigers will have had a Great Season!

Could very well happen but I think thats best case scenario 40-45 TD’s. I honestly believe 32-35 passing TD’s is very realistic which would still give him second place. I could see him getting 38-40 total TD’s also. I think this team will be more we’ll rounded for some reason. More explosive in the run game, on defense and ST’s. So even with the above numbers we could still average 45 plus points a game. He may throw more INTs which would bring his numbers down. 33 Passing TD’s / 5 rushing TD’s / 8 INTs. While also having an explosive run game. Two RBs with 10 or more TDs and one with like 8. Defense and ST’s will score more this year, book it.

Oh look we just won another Natty man these fricking things are growing on trees now. I like it
I say we go 11-1 next season and slide back into the playoff.

No way. He will need 2 years and I think after being patient, he will want to savor every bit of it.

I love that the gif is actually an Emery rushing TD

Baw is gonna throw some picks. He's not as gifted a rusher so will have to force throws rather than tuck n run. Just pointing out the obvious.

No it was not.
It was when Brennan threw the TD pass to Racey against OU in the semifinals.

What is this based on besides pure fandom?

Brennan will be the Brees replacement.

One year starters don’t fare well in the NFL (looking at you Mitch Trubiski). He would be better served to hang around for his Senior year, even if he excels next year.

That was against a&m. This is after the Emery score in the Oklahoma game, which was a great drive by brennan prior

He has a great family, plenty of money, senior year threw 48 TDs 3 int. Saw what Burrow did his second year, yeah I think he's here for 2 and we are gonna be very good.

Finally some optimism around here!

Based on what evidence?
I certainly hope he rises t the occasion and plays lights out but we really won’t know until we see him in action.
