If Brennan learns to put some touch on his passes and go through his progressions he's going to be really good. Guy has elite arm talent, great height, good enough athleticism, and has played in a similar system in high school where he broke records. Also has crazy weapons.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Brennan put together the second-best season ever by an LSU QB this year, and be a first-round pick in the 2021 draft.
I sure as shite hope you're correct, but I already feel bad for what this board is going to say about this poor guy next season as he comes in after 60 TD Burrow.

I can see him put up 40 TDs next year easy with the weapons at his disposal.

I can see that and also see 1/2 the Rant bitching about it only being 40 TDs.

I think some people are in for a big surprise and harsh realization.

I’d be shocked if Brennan got anywhere near 40 tds (if he’s even the starter)

If the Rant is going to be upset at that, they’ve got a long season coming.

Burrow carried this team like no one else could with Brady. Those guys and their assistants are GONE. This is going to be LSU of old. We’ll eek out to 9 or 10 wins with the bowl game, average offense but talent everywhere on the field

The upcoming QB class will have Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields coming out. Myles Brennan can light the world on fire this season but he’ll still be viewed behind those two QBs barring injuries to either of them. I think Brennan wants to be run the show for 2 years. He could have transferred if he was looking for the fastest way out of college. He’s stuck around behind Burrow for two years to develop and I’m betting he plays for 2 more years.

Zzyzx... sounds like you might be sleeping.
Your post sounds like you may be off a little.
But I’m here to tell you it would not be wise to doubt Myles Brennan.
People are in for a big surprise alright but the surprise is that Brennan will throw for 50 tds, he will be invited to NY and he will take this team back to the NCG and he will return for his second year.
Now book mark this post so you can refer to it as often as you like.

I hope you're right, he seems a little soft.

Tshark please Substantiate your claim that Brennan “seems a little soft.” On what are you basing your statement on? I would like to be enlightened by your insight.

You may on to something here. LSU has figured out that this is the place where someone can have one good to great season and then leave. Got it.

So basically like every school that recruits top level athletes?

It's like gamblers who only crow about their wins but a year later they declare bankruptcy and end up in a divorce.

Seemed to be happy being Burrow's ball boy and just hasn't seemed as confident with where to go with the ball.
Again, I hope I'm wrong and I honestly think I will be wrong. I'm just uncomfortable with all the sunshine pumping lately around Brennan and if he reads this stuff I'd like to facelessly provide some bulletin material that theres still a lot for him to prove. If I'm being honest.

We have no idea how content he was with anything much less being burrows back up. Anyone who is competitive enough to have even made it to this level is not content to just be a name on a roster. They want to play. The sunshine pumping as you put it is well deserved. Somebody has to follow burrow. Some QB has to take the reigns and make this team his own. Do you think any of the other QBs deserve any pumping? Brennan is ready and has worked 3+ years for this chance. I think a little confidence by the fans is warranted.

Alright you win, I'm back on board. You sound passionate enough to be his family member. Looks like my bulletin material made it to the right hands.

Not family but I was on the his staff in high school. I know him personally and I’ve seen enough to believe. I know what’s he’s about to do now that it’s his turn. Just know you will be happy when he’s done.
