Which is why Jack Sears from USC might be transferring to LSU. Graduate transfer immediately eligible. Two years eligibility left. Counting on Brennan being gone after one great year.
Look at news report showing SDSU announcing Sears isn’t coming as was previously announced.

holy cow. Why don't we let Brennan actually win the job first this spring? And then actually start a game.

These threads are So disrespectful to Joe. Guy does what NO ONE has ever done before and you people think every clown in a LSU uniform (no offense to Myles) is going to do the same thing. Retards.

Pull up a chair and watch.
O thinks he is ready. The receivers thinks he is ready.
We have more talented, coached up, running backs than last season.
Brennan has the experience and the talent to match Burrow.
This team can be just as explosive.

good god, this is insane.

It takes way more than a strong arm to be a great QB.

Brennan won’t be the starting QB in 2020

You are correct.
It takes a good OL
It takes three great WRs and a good tight end
It takes a good running back who can break tackles/make defenders miss, and the ability to run pass routes and good hands.
Take any of those away and we don't win the national championship and he doesn't win the Heisman.
Brennan in the little times he has seen the field this season, has shown he has talent.
All the other ingredients seem to be in place.
He may not be a Burrow but neither was Mauck or Flynn and we won it all.
I'm remaining optimistic until Spring practice is over and then we can read the tea leaves.

Who believed when Buckeye Jeaux and Burrow were predicting 40-50-60 points a game and 600 yds, prior to the season? What had Burrow done, to prior to the season, to indicate that was a possibility?

I’d be shocked if Brennan got anywhere near 40 tds

40 would have him tied for 4th in school history, so yeah it seems unlikely. At the same time, though, we’ve never seen LSU spread the field like this before 2019 so who knows?

If Brennan gets to 30 TDs, I’m going to be REALLY excited about 2021..

This is going to be LSU of old. We’ll eek out to 9 or 10 wins with the bowl game, average offense but talent everywhere on the field

Well you sound like an optimist.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Brennan put together the second-best season ever by an LSU QB this year, and be a first-round pick in the 2021 draft. The future is bright.

Hate to say it, but I could see this happening- even if he doesn't get a 1st rd grade.

Chase and Marshall will both be leaving, barring something unforeseen. Brennan's got an arm, and one season with a pair of NFL receivers to show what he can do.

If He’s that good, then that’s a good problem to have.

I mean, no team and no qb has done that. None. NONE! JJ won more games than any qb before and people still shite on that family.
