Cry more earthmuffin

There is no shortage of beautiful land in Utah

Opening some up won’t be a big deal

Still plenty of acres to visit and enjoy

Ok, so, after reading that article, it looks like this is a decrease in the amount of land claimed by the federal government 2 years ago.

I mean, it states that Bear Ears was claimed by the federal government in 2017.

The states didn’t want it done either.

Utah strongly opposed the move.

So, prior to 2017, these weren’t protected lands and a percentage of them will remain protected lands anyway.

Well, I'm not reading mining into that at all. Mining and ranching can not coexist, wind mill farms and ranching can coexist though.

Just my $.02

I believe a very large portion of Utah and surrounding States have almost as much Federal land as private, and you aint welcome to most of it.

There's no doubt that Trump's rollback of enviro regs is going to lead to at least some negative enviro results. The question is, is it worth it. It might be. But we should at least be honest about the trade offs.

So you're upset that someone might build a house on a nice piece of property?
