just got a call and text from ADT saying my glass shatter monitor went off in the back of the house. loaded up the live video of the backyard and I can see huge arse chunks of hail raining down

not ideal

damage reported at Hilton Riverside in NOLA

ETA: WWL saying they got pea-sized hail at their station on N. Rampart St.

Last time I looked at KLIX it had a derecho look to it.

Well, there's already a tornado warning south of Jackson, MS, as well as several other severe thunderstorm warnings.

The big mess of storms developing in south AL may help to cut off some of the tropical moisture and flow into Northern AL. It could keep the worst threat to the west, which matches what the SPC is saying.

Not wanting to go James Spann, but it does peeve me when someone says " nothing happened" ,when tornadoes have occurred, but just not on your street
