Yep, they do it all the time. As you see with Spann, people cry about him being on TV covering active tornado warnings just because those tornado warnings weren't for their town. If it isn't in their town, Spann or any other TV meteorologist shouldn't be on TV basically.

Yeah, people in my area still ask, "Will this be like April, 27?" Well, no it may never be like that day again, but if a single tornado passes through your street, it will be your April 27.

Only thundering here in NELA. The last 5-6 apocalypse predictions from the TWC have been light showers, so I don’t trust them. Looks like they may have finally gotten one right.
