It’s true you’re right. These threads really expose the morons that dwell here.

Btw what’s crazy about Greedy and shows this place’s true colors is that people only started hating him after O got caught lying about him. So Orgeron lies about Greedy and the Rant attacks Greedy for it lol. One thing I’ll never understand is this place attacking young kids who get paid peanuts while they twist themselves into knots to eliminate any responsibility for adult multi millionaires.

So it was a freshman's job to lead the team.
leadership isn't defined by age. Leaders lead.

And I'd think a generational talent, and future no. 1 NBA draft pick could put a college team on his shoulders. And that team surrounding Simmons had a good bit of talent.

But that didn't happen. And how about Ben's final act: that spectacular 33 point loss to A&M in the SEC tourney? That's leadership right there.

You're right. Johnny Jones didn't do his job getting the team ready to play. Good point.

Wow! They made the tournament. That is setting the bar pretty low.
Probably the best group of players to ever play for an LSU basketball team, and you are proud they made the tournament.

You criticized them for not making the final four and applaud Simmons who didn’t even play in the NIT.

BTW Zion and Barret didn’t make the FF either.

And no I wasn’t happy that Shaq and CJ didn’t get farther in the tourney, but I never felt they didn’t play hard, of that they coasted or really didn’t care if LSU won or not.

So when CJ and Mo were fighting over the ball or Stanley was pouting for being benched you considered that all in and playing hard for LSU?

If Simmons was the cancer, why wasn't he sat down or kicked off the team?

He was untouchable. He didn’t have to follow team rules, practice or go to class. Some resented it.

Jones was not in position to do anything. His hands were tied.

At least they were fighting and wanted the ball unlike Simmons who passed at the last second rather than put up a dhot.

So if someone doesn’t care for Ben Simmons that makes them...whatever you call them?

Because I’m sure they were also hating on the football team this year, and are crapping on Will Wade and the bball team now—because a dislike for Ben Simmons has to mean you hate LSU right?

Oh, and this is just silly.

So you think Simmons attended class, all the workouts and made every practice?

Lmfao so behavior contrary to winning is ok as long as it’s not what you claim Simmons did? Basically your entire stance is if Simmons did it it’s bad but if somebody else did something counterproductive it’s all good. You ppl are truly special.

But Simmons was suspended so how is your “he was untouchable and Jones hands were tied” narrative true? News flash it’s not true.

Yes, he’d control the balk for six or eight seconds, and pass with two seconds on the clock rather than drive the lane of shoot.

And he still can’t shoot.

I never felt like Simmons cared about winning.
He sloughed off on D, he coasted when he felt like it, and he showed no heart.

He was too cool for us. He only came because he was forced to come.

No

But he played with heart, passed his on line courses and left with a degree.
