What if rooting out corruption in US foreign aid has a side benefit?

Should US tax payers be defrauded by the Biden family with no consequences just because he is a Democrat presidential candidate? The entire process is absurd.

I want factual evidence. Even your "multiple witness testimonies" had zero....zero....first hand knowledge. Only presumptions, suppositions, and opinions. Until such time as this evidence is presented, I will continue to believe this is nothing but a political hit job from a group of people who....how does it go....have "a well recorded history, pattern, and multiple witness testimonies" of wanting Trump impeached the day he was elected to office.

You caught the eye of TDS patient number 7.

I think trump was told about some stuff, heard about more shenanigans and asked Ukraine to explore that.

I think another bunch of Obama holdovers/zealots saw an opportunity for by any means necessary and tried to sell this as something more.

If I were Trump, I’d want to know about the bullshite going on too. Especially if we are about to drop all that cash and gear on them.

I totally understand progstains using this to their advantage though. They were honest about by any means necessary.

funny how it wasn't required to requests a foreign country to look into an American citizen in the first place. But I guess we are selective about what requires evidence and what doesn't now
Isn't that the point of an investigation, to see if evidence can be found? How would Trump have evidence if no investigation occurred? Now as to your shite comparison between the two, Trump was investigated and NO evidence was found.

4 - other. i reject your premise of assumed motivation based off limited selective conversations/leaks.

lets say trump did ask for QPQ, but it was to feel out whether the guy would bend to inappropriate asks. Maybe he’s just weighing responses of compliance. Imagine this isn’t trump in this case and is hypothetical next president. These types of convos with other world leaders need to be protected, i am horrified that these have now become weaponized only requiring ‘presumption’ of people not privy to trumps thoughts/cabinet.

I do not believe a phone conversation is legitimately impeachable without solid evidence that there was severe underlying malfeasance. Snippets from convos can be misleading.

then when you consider the weak accusation plus the fact that Dems have just taken such extra-ordinary measures during this presidency. Assaulting the president legally over the past 3 years, over what has been proven false Russia collusion election cheating etc. I do not believe this is any different than the pattern established thus far.

weak case for impeachment Being presented to the senate. I think they’re giving it more attention than it deserved.

That is called remedy. Judgment was issued and remedy provided. Should we (or even Trump himself) not expect the same remedy from our politicians if they have used their positions to defraud the taxpayer? Look at your pay-stub and imagine if the Fed Withholding Box was replaced with "M1 turret gasket" or "Hunter Biden's Kickback". Would you desire to have that corruption exposed, regardless of who pulls back the curtain?

1. And I really wish SOMEBODY from the press or Democrats would at least explain the video of Biden and the coincidence of his son working in that country. It is crazy that is being ignored.

1.

Reasoning.

Biden hadn't announced his candidacy, Trump has stated over and over he wants to fight corruption, Trump had every right to question the new Ukranian President and how he would use the aid based on previous admins. President Zelensky ran on fighting the corruption and so when Trump learned that Aid had been held up by Biden for a quid pro quo due to the prosecutor investigating his son(This prosecutor could have been corrupt as well so shouldn't it be looked into?) he mentioned it to Zelensky.

In addition, his lawyer Rudy is famous for taking down the 5 families. I just find it hard to believe it was politically motivated instead of being motivated by say... Corruption.

Trump has given the least foreign aid of any of our previous administrations. I think he realizes just how aid is mishandled by politicians, foreign gov, and lobbyists.

4. Trump's request to Zelensky for an investigation was motivated by outing corruption that occurred during the previous administration at the highest level of our government. Trump's actions were not only appropriate, but a duty of his office. It is self evident that this is not an impeachable offense.

I think Trump stepped in it and didn't even realize he did it. he's not a career politician and he probably had no idea that specifically naming Biden was a big deal. And then Mulvaney's "Get over it" moment, basically admitting the QPQ didn't help.

This plays out the same as all the Trump gaffs. Making fun of the retarded journalist, Stormy, locker room talk.

Trump supporters always follow this timeline.

1. He didn't do it.
2. Fake news twisting what really happened.
3. Yea, he did it, but I don't care.

I never understand these posts. I hate Hillary and I didn't vote for her. I hate Islam and don't want any more moslems here. Is it just because I refuse to treat Trump (who I intend to vote for later this year) like he's something he isn't? Why can't we just be honest about all players?
