Being told by high level LSU insider that discussions will go very quickly and that under consideration in no specific order:
Shoop, Busch, Chizik and multiple NFL Coaches.

Phones are blowing up with interest to join staff on all levels!

Would be fine with any of those listed. O knows what it takes to get here, we’ll be fine.

I wouldn’t really care for chizik but he’s a very good DC. He’s the sole reason UNC had that 10-11 win season a few years back. Once he left they plummeted. But yeah he’s definitely option 5+ after the first handful

X&O's being equal, my money is on familiarity with Orgeron & recruiting ability.

Chizik probably knows a few things about bagmen. Just saying...

Lsu should talk to James Andrew Leonhard from Wisconsin.. He was Aranda's assistant when he was at Wisconsin.. Leonhard only makes 225,000 a year. He could come to LSU and compete for a national championship every year or stay at Wisconsin and play in the rose bowl each year...

I liked Chizik but it makes me a little skeptical when someone has been out of coaching for a while. But I could be talked into it.

Leonhard has to be in the mix, right ? I can't imagine Aranda not putting in a word for his boy on the way out. Not to mention, he built on what Aranda did so there's a precedent of succession.

I can’t seem to link the Google article.....

But they said there is interest both ways with Todd Grantham. It basically was updated at 6:15am saying that Grantham would be willing to leave Florida

Personally I’d love to have Grantham; Shoop, or maybe even Alex Grinch

Hope it’s different phone lines than “all those recruits were calling in on to get in this class.”

O's recent hiring history seems to indicate that he favors younger dynamic coordinators supplemented by older, more experienced assistants. He has seen firsthand the benefit of a forward-looking offensive mind, so I would expect him to go with someone younger.
