Jesus Christ some of you people are easily triggered.
Cant you find something else, ANYTHING else to post about?? What must your life be like to be bothered by completely innocuous words/phrases like that?

I say "absolutely" all the time when replying to requests from clients. I didn't realize that was a ~female~ thing. I'm just overly nice and enthusiastic because I don't want to sound bitchy when not trying to be.

It isnt a female thing.. i know just as many males as females who use the word ‘Absolutely’ to confirm something, in both personal and professional situations.
The OP is reaching really hard to stir conversation about somehting that doesnt even exist... Only three days into the offseason, and this is where we are already.

Let's go with trivial shite that bothers the weak-mind for 1000, Alex.

And, yes, that's a real expression. I was working in Nairobi, Kenya and while eating in the hotel restaurant I thanked my waiter for filling my water glass. He replied, "Hakuna matata." I said, "What?!?" He told me it means "no problem" in Swahili.
I guess you didn't pay attention during the movie. The lyrics literally tell you what the phrase means.
It means no worries
For the rest of your days
It's our problem-free philosophy
Hakuna Matata!

"You're fine" is a popular one with my 13 year old daughter and her friends.
My wife and her friends still use "shut the front door" and it drives me insane. I guess it's not trendy though since they've been using at least 10 years now.

Not distinctly female I don’t guess, but the overuse of the word “problematic” has been irritating to me recently.

Have a blessed day annoys me a bit.

Basically getting across that said informal apology is not necessary.
I use that, and I intend it as "there's no apology necessary."
I haven't really been bothered by a new buzzword since hella. I did not like hella, but that was probably just me.
