Recruiting Players From Amite..................

Do you all think that we'll essentially close down that Alabama pipeline coming out of Amite now that we've won the championship? Orgeron has put up the wall around North Louisiana, which Saban also used to raid. At this point, it would be stupid for the kids comin' outta Amite to even consider Alabama............................or is that barber in Alabama too much for our coaches to overcome? Anymore Devonta Lees or Ishmael Sopshers coming outta Amite?

Who knows, just know my friends from Amite were on facebook last night with their roll tide nonsense and posting pictures of the odds for next years championship.

Saban didn't get anyone out of Louisiana this cycle except for a 3-star RB that wasn't on our board.

I’m sure they were quick to post the odds for this years’ after last year’s national championship game too. Who would’ve thought we’d live in a time when Alabama would become Next Year U

If Devonta Lee pans out, that may go a long way in flipping the Amite fan base. Do they have any legit prospects on the horizon? I thought that Lee and Sophser were the last 2 for the foreseeable future.

Sopsher was our secret plant on Alabama to waste a scholarship. Guy is lazy and a waste of ability.

That's what I thought as well. And I think the biggest reason that area got their feelings hurt by LSU was because they hadn't had any SEC quality talent in 10+ years, so LSU didn't come around.
I read a Twitter thread this morning about Orgeron calling an AD at a high school in California and saying he was going to come visit that school. The AD told Orgeron they didn't have any USC caliber guys (they were like 0-10 that year, too). About 15 minutes later, Orgeron just shows up and wants to talk football with the guy. Their student video kid was a big USC fan and Orgeron spent a lot of time with him.
When the AD asked Orgeron why he came after he told him they didn't have anyone for USC, Orgeron responded "Because one day, you might".
Anyway, that story reminded me of the situation with Amite and some of the north Louisiana communities. How they kind of just got ignored when they didn't have legit prospects.

Burn the whole shite hole down

Interestingly, Coach Miles was still able to consistently field top 5 recruiting classes. Imagine how much better they would've been if we didn't have that situation with N. Louisiana and Amite.

Amite is no longer in LA. So the fence don't matter.
It is a breakaway province who should at the least be put into a siege economy and their leaders turned over for public show trials.
And then, following that, given to a council of Wankees to run from afar forever ignored by us and only allowed passage to MS.

I can count on one hand the number of noteworthy Louisiana recruits Saban has signed in years there was not a coaching change at LSU.

Bama fans are hanging onto saban glory days bc they know its slowly drifting away.

Bahahahahaha. No it's not. They had a bad year for them because of injuries, but will be back to owning the SEC if they stay healthy next year. I dislike Bama as much as the next guy, but they are not going anywhere anytime soon so matter how much LSU fans want them too.

The barber you are referencing is in Amite not Alabama

I get that, but it will still be disturbing in 2020 to see his TWO best linebackers not just from Louisiana, but from Baton Rouge.
Disgusting...

I’m from and live in North LA. I’ve seen Saban come in and get plenty of kids from this area, especially West Monroe and Neville.

Amite doesn't have any big time recruits on the horizon
this year or likely next so it won't matter
Bama hasn't hit on every recruit out of LA
Cameron Sims, Hootie Jones, and Chris Allen haven't done much.
Carter wasn't any better than LSU DB's this past year.
