Porn is lawfully shot in this country every day. These guys aren't in trouble just because they shot some porn.

Look, I read the article. If the things they are claiming are in fact true, then yes, these guys deserve every bit of justice coming their way.

The problem I am having is the fact that all of their claims require you to take them at their word. If they can prove any of this shite happened, then that's a different conversation.

I stand by my assessment: sounds like buyers remorse.

I checked it out last night. There are a ton of hot women on there. Porn has come a long way.

Speaks volumes to the naivete of these young ladies to think that even if the videos were distributed in some far away land that there was no possible chance they'd ever end up on the internet.

I'm not defending the GDP guys, but to act like the women who did these videos aren't exactly innocent victims either.

This is sort of my take, just from the perspective of doing it at all. You have to realize that if you participate in that type of activity it will be made available in some form in some way.

Except that's not the case. As an example--These guys paid "reference girls" to legitimize the lies they were spinning about distribution. The texts are out there and corroborate the claims in the court docs.

Again, they went out of their way to deceive among other underhanded tactics and that's why they find themselves in the situation they are in. No one is going after them because some girls are ashamed they did porn.

Yeah, the Federal Government tends to have a pretty shitty track record at proving criminal cases. Good point.

We are such a progressive society.

You don't have a problem with someone coercing others, including physically preventing them from leaving, into signing a contract? It sounds like the concept of "liberty" is not something you're really into.

You say they're not innocent victims. Do you believe they are "guilty victims"? Or do you believe they aren't victims? Do you believe no crime was committed?

So girls are suing because they were whores and he just helped show the World this.

I mean feels like maybe you should have kept your legs closed sluts.

How did they physically prevent them from leaving? Honest question.

Y'all bitching but a judge with more facts than you obviously sided with the women.

Well yeah. You really think a federal judge is going to side with the GDP guy?

You shouldn't have left your belongings on your car seat in plain sight. You should have been more aware of your surroundings before walking down that dark street. People often make poor decisions that get them into trouble. That doesn't absolve perpetrators of culpability.

They weren't awarded with $13 mil. because of buyers remorse. If it was that easy to sue porn merchants for simply doing business as usual, it would happen all the time.

Also, people tend not to flee the country when they're innocent.

I'm not willing to draw any conclusions of actual guilt based on the outcome of a civil suit.

Other posters have alluded to some actual evidence being available which incriminates these guys. That may well be the case, but there was certainly none presented in the OP's article. Until someone wants to link it up all we're talking about is taking people at their word.

When there are potentially millions of dollars to be had as incentive for lying, then I'm going to need more to go on than the word of a bunch of girls who had sex on camera for ~$2k

Or you can google it like someone who actually cares about being informed.

Gee, if only there were court testimony from women that weren't the ones having sex on camera...
