It's not my mission to acertain the guilt or innocence of these guys. I'm here to discuss the OP. If you want to convince me I'm wrong, have at it. Or dont, that's fine too.

More people with suspect motives that I'm supposed to take at their word? Yawn.

Other posters have alluded to some actual evidence being available which incriminates these guys. That may well be the case, but there was certainly none presented in the OP's article. Until someone wants to link it up all we're talking about is taking people at their word.

Googled it and still came across nothing about underage girls.

while it does NOT justify what is being accused of these guys, these girls should have been smarter than to put themselves in that situation in the first place... sure they were taken advantage of once they got to the room and the cameras were rolling, or whatever, but they DID choose to go up to the room in the first place... just saying, play stupid games, win stupid prizes... i'm not trying to blame the girls, per se, however i do think that better decisions could have been made, at the outset, that this could have been easily all been avoided to begin with...

Yeah, you're right. Yet, here you are troubled by the fact that those whose job it is to make those determinations apparently saw enough to bring charges.

Which is exactly what we are doing.

It's a racket! They even fabricated the text messages.

If true he deserves the charges

Yes. NIH finally linked it.
The OP didn't make any mention of it that is why I didn't understand the trafficking charges.

Sure. Not like anything like this has ever happened, ruining the lives of the accused, only to later be proven false.
I think my position is perfectly reasonable. If there is evidence they're guilty of a crime, then stick em under the jail. If not, leave them alone. Is that really so terrible?

That isn’t a position. It’s meaningless word salad. That’s like saying whoever scores the most points will win.

It's two different situations.
The FBI isn't involved because of the contract situations or the girls having remorse. The original linked article made it seem that way, but that isn't the case.
The transporting a minor accusation is what this is about. The FBI will have to prove it, which should be easy.

The indictment in the article I linked is pretty clear.

Am I saying something contrary to that?
They are still going to get their day in court.
