BR institution gone. Didn’t realize Donnie Jarreau bought the property. He’s a piece of shite but apparently so is Sammy.

So ridiculous...all of these restaurants used to be slammed to the gills. Then out of nowhere, poor business decisions ruin it all. There's a big financial black hole somewhere in Sammy's life...

No big secret. Owners fuked the only guy holding the empire together and in turn fuked themselves. DJ bought them a little time to right the ship but it was way to far gone. I look for Stabiler to pick it up and give it a go .

Damned shame.
Started going there shortly after it opened (girlfriend [now wife - no pics] lived in Gardere when it was full of LSU students and not a demilitarized zone). Good food, cold beer, reasonable prices. Taught my kids how to peel and eat crawfish there.
