I bought myself a boss blues driver and a Foxpedal magnifica reverb pedal. I’ve been using them on my small pedal board. My goal is to eventually incorporate them into my big board with my Koda od and my banshee reverb so I can have one od pedal set to low gain for a more bluesbreaker tone with the other set to higher gain for my normal stuff. With the reverb pedals, I could have one turned all the way up to drench my clean tones for ballads and the other set at noon for just adding a little reverb for my overdriven rhythm playing.

I didn't receive anything musical, but I did give one of these to my cousin's daughter, she's 8 years old and starting to show interest in music.
LINK

I bought a new laptop for recording and an interface for myself.

Looks like my link didn't work exactly right, but it was The Luna 3/4 mahogany dreadnought Safari.

An Audioengine B1 Bluetooth receiver for the home stereo. Sounds almost as good as a CD player.

I got this and this ...

... for inside this ... my Recto series widebody fully-closed-back vertical 2x12 ...

The head is a 1990 "green stripe" (fifth circuit revision) Mark III that was sent back to Mesa/Boogie for additional mods.

The majority voice among my clients is this head/cab is the best rock setup in and around Baton Rouge, nothing comes close. And that was BEFORE I picked speakers that really capitalize on what she does. Man, oh man. :)

Got a DigiTech Drop pedal.

My wife stopped buying the excuse that I needed a new guitar or two every Christmas because I need one for each tuning.

I really don’t understand the purpose of big cabs like that for modern players. What room will anyone ever play where they need that much volume? Much more important is the ability to produce a great tone at low volumes so you can mic it and distribute it through a PA system exactly where (and how much) you want it.

Heck, don’t most big bands just run everything through a kimper anyways?
