Ok I'm a Quentin Tarantino fan, let me just get that out there now. I don't however think everything he's made is great or for that matter even good.

For some though, he's never made a bad movie. Only good movies that simply weren't quite as good as some others.

Well here's the question. What are some Quentin Tarantino movies that in your opinion were just legitimately bad?

For me it's jackie brown, basterds, Hollywood and death proof. Death proof of course being the worst by far.

So let's hear your thoughts on Tarantino shite movies. You may not think he's made any bad movies at all. If not, well that's ok too.

I hated Hateful Eight.

I thought it was incredibly boring and too similar to Reservoir Dogs.

No, I said I wouldn't start a Hollywood thread. This is a bad Tarantino movie thread.

Do you think he's made at least one bad movie?

I didn’t like how Django went WAY over the top with the shootout.

There’s just something I like about Tarantino movies, I think the dialogue. Characters seem to talk like regular people in his movies.

I thought eight was his most under appreciated movie. I really liked it and I thought that was one of Jackson's better Tarantino characters.

I haven’t seen “once upon a time....”

The closest things to being “bad” that he’s directed are Django Unchained and Deathproof

It wasn't a bad movie but for me, it didn't get good until jackson entered the picture.

Death Proof is the only one that's bad.

Don’t get this, at all

JB is fantastic. I’d probably say that PF is his best work, but an argument could be made for JB.

He’s certainly made enough films to say that JB is nowhere near the bottom.

Just couldn't connect or get into Hateful Eight.

It's basically a Play, which is fine...but the dialogue wasn't up to snuff this time to sustain the tripod camera.

There was nothing artful about it. The script was everything to him I suppose. Didn't he even threaten to not make the movie because the script was leaked?

I legitimately think Jackie Brown is his best movie. It's a great story that burns slowly. I also have a thing for Pam Grier. Inglorious and Django are my least favorite Tarantino films as they seem little more than racial revenge porn.

I liked pulp and I think it was was a fun movie to watch but I wasn't wowed by it.

People forget this but at the time it was released, John Travolta being in it was probably it's biggest selling point. Not because he was a big star, just the opposite. He was a has been and people wanted to see him in this weird and unusual role. A role that was supposed to trigger this amazing comeback and of course did.
