Except for maybe Death Proof [which I haven't seen], his last 3 movies have been his worst IMO. My thoughts on some of his movies:

Reservoir Dogs - Very good

Pulp Fiction - Great / Classic

Jackie Brown - Very good

Kill Bill - Good

Inglourious Basterds - Very good [maybe my personal favorite]

Django Unchained - Meh; overrated

The Hateful Eight - OK

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - OK

I know this won’t be popular but the greatest script Tarantino ever wrote was “‘True Romance”. I read a long time ago Brad Pitt specifically asked to make Floyd a pot head. So Pitt deserves credit for that part. It’s crazy he didn’t direct his best writing.

Damn, dude, you really are still melting hard over QT.

How is any of this a "melt"? It's just movie chatter?

For starters, I don’t think you’re a fan of his.

I've seen every single movie. Some more than once.

I'm a fan of tom cruise for instance and hated cocktail. Is that allowed?

Can't believe so many of y'all hated Hateful 8. I laughed my arse off at several scenes. And it has a mystery to it.

I really liked it.

That march through the snow was gripping and unforgiving.

You're not being trolled. Why the hard feelings?

Do you think he's made any bad movies?

See I actually think he may have stopped trying after the bills. I think that was his best work.

People take that Tarantino real frickin' seriously.

Says the guy who started his own Tarantino thread and is constantly posting about him in other threads

When folks insult you over a movie, then yeah they do. If i knew how to give that chuckling emoji back to you, i would. So instead you'll just have to imagine i'm chuckling.

Dude, you’re all over the place

You’re a fan of Tarantino, but don’t like > half his flicks

I’m pretty sure you’re also upvoting your posts

This thread is weird

You’re bringing shame upon the once great name of a fantastic dirty whore

I think your reaction to it is "weird". We're just talking about some of the shittier Tarantino movies, that's all. None of this is that heavy.

I don't toss the word "melt" around lightly, in fact i rarely use it at all but you do indeed seem to be melting but read through this thread. You ain't the only one.

Anyway, has he made a bad movie? If so, what is it?

He hasn't made "bad" movies necessarily, he just doesn't make awe inspiring, jaw dropping amazing movies like his fanboys claim. None of his movies really hang together all that well because he's more enamored with scene than plot and character.

Tard thread, his worst is death proof and even that is Great. Picking his second worst is utterly impossible because he is on the my Rushmore of filmmakers who can provide a good story with great input

Characters seem to talk like regular people in his movies.

This might be my biggest gripe with QT. Characters don't talk like normal people. If you've ever seen QT in interviews he's one of the most awkward dorks in Hollywood. He writes dialogue how a dork thinks cool people talk. I always imagine him in front of the keyboard giggling, "Man, it'd be so cool if this guy said 'motherfricker' here!" as he hits Enter.

Pulp was okay. Not this cinematic classic it's been made out to be. In fact, I barely remember its plot points that's how minimal an impact it had on me. Basterds was bad. JB is my favorite of his movies.

Hateful eight is the only QT movie up for discussion here.

I liked it....but that is setting the low bar for his movies.

Oh my effing god. Now i'm melting for sure. No one in their right mind thinks death proof was "great". Holy shitness with all that.

Yeah, anyone who thinks that movie is anything more than a steamy parking lot shite diaper has put Quentin Tarantino up there with the frickin' prophet Muhammad.

I kid. Really.

But seriously. What the frick's the matter with you?

I agree with that, but I still love the dialogue regardless

Welp, there you have it folks. I guess myself and all those who have praised Pulp over the last 20 years have been wrong this whole time
