I’ve got the Z6 5-30 on my all carbon 6.5 PRC I had built this year and it’s a great scope.

I'm wanting to look at the new Nightforce NX8 4-32.
have you had a chance to play with it?

I haven’t yet. I’ve heard glass is good but not as good as the ATACR. Not sure if it’s on par with NXS glass or in between the ATCAR and NXS.

I'm still looking at a new rifle build.
Gonna take my time with it.
Probably gonna do a Bighorn TL3
Proof carbon in 6.5 prc
triggertech special
Thinking about putting it in the KRG Bravo Chassis.

What's it do that a dozen other establish calibers dont?
IMO, 375 ruger is the only true major advancement in new cartridges since the WSMs.

This is what I have currently:
.223
22/250
.243
.257 Weatherby
6.5 Creedmor
6.5 PRC
.264 Win Mag
.270
.280 AI
30/30
.308
.300 win mag
Guessing that you like to collect calibers .308 or under, so why not go one up like a man?

Definitely needs a .338 win mag, or .338-06 if he wants oddball.
Theres really no gap that needs filling there, except .30-06 just because its communistic to be a gun guy and not have one.
.338 win mag or .375 h&h on the top end, .22 magnum on the bottom.

277 Fury demystified
And I noticed you have a 22-250, if its a fast twist 22-250 then scratch the 22 creedmoor off the list as they do the same thing.
30-06 is a good one. A 10 twist 06 could be a fun gun.

If you want bigger than 7mm, but don't want ordinary, than might I suggest the 33 Nosler. 338 Lupua power in a 30-06 length action.

not really.
That's a neutered load for the .338 Lapua.
The standard load in .338 lapua is pushing a 250gr bullet 3000fps.
That article claims that .338 Lapua pushes 225gr 3000.
That cartridge is easily capable of pushing a 225gr bullet around 3200 fps
