The first two years, the team reflected Wade’s demeanor: fiery, brash, gritty. He stalked the sidelines and coached each possession really hard.

This year he is so much more reserved. I know each team is different and has to be coached differently but the change is pretty drastic.

Totally agree. The entire fiasco last spring obviously has had a huge negative impact on Wade and this team.

He’s like, I should have recruited a point guard, a rebounder, and a 3point shooter, etc...

IIRC a lot of those positions were lined up in recruiting. Then Alleva and F King stepped in.

After what happened we need to look at this as a reset back to year 1 in a lot of ways. 100% faith in WW to get there but we need to have patience.

Told y’all the staff is well aware of the glaring deficiencies. It’s not going to change this season. It is what it is. Middle of the pack in league . Only good thing is the league is way down from last year.

We can let bygones be gone, but Wade left them with no choice. He literally refused to meet with his bosses

all wade had to do was meet with them and tell them he had no idea about any of that. The only reason he didn’t is because he didn’t know what else would be released.

F. King and Alleva weren’t the “bosses”, they were incompetent middle managers in the grand scheme of the LSU system and he didn’t owe them shite, especially in the context that they wanted to meet. Go frick yourself

His first team had way less talent than this one. But he coached with an edge and they played with an edge. This year, there’s no fire.

The team 2 seasons ago is probably most similar to this team

The problem is we’re having similar issues to early of last season. Turnovers, trying to change the way our point guard plays naturally and not using the bench enough. I trust he’ll get it right come conf play like always but it is troubling to see him repeat past mistakes so identically.

I’ve been at every home game except this one and haven’t noticed that much of a change. He still gets pretty fired up.

I have seats a couple rows from him. The dude is just as fiery. He does seem to acknowledge the youth on this team doesn’t want to tear down their fragile confidence.

Javonte has gone from asset to hindrance. He made a lot of bad shots and bad decisions tonight

He had Tremont it’s the biggest difference . Sampson, Reath, Mays, Epps, Edwards, all in all that team would blow this one out.
