Because btr is over an hour drive, I can get from my house to there terminal of msy in ten minutes.

I flew out of the new NOLA airport this weekend. It’s nice.
Security was so little a hassle that I don’t remember it. Concourses are wide. Better food options.

You’ve obviously never flown out of BTR. There are many things you can call BTR, but a dump ain’t one of them. If you live around BR and don’t want to fly out of NOLA it’s a good option. But it is by no means a dump

The BR airport is fine. It's a much better experience than most larger airports imo. The only reason to fly out of Nola if you live closer to BTR is cost or a direct flight.

In general or are you talking about to Atlanta? The main reason I pick New Orleans is flight flexibility and on time statistics

BTR is a dump. MSY is a first class facility. Direct flights. It’s cheaper. But other than that...
