The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is.
Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule.
Ratings and projections update daily.

The national championship trophies are replicas. The real deals are kept in a banquet room in Tiger Stadium. Basically the idea is they should stay in the house they were earned in. Unless they've changed things up. The bowl trophies and all that are all the actual trophies along with the schools copies of the individual trophies are at Football Ops. Looks like they all got a new trophy room with the upgrades.
