...Three of my coworkers had to wear stylish yet tasteful LSU ties...

Not from this week, but one of my coworkers had to wear an LSU shirt to work out in at our onsite gym. He was a LongHorn fan.

I haven’t heard a peep out of any of the Aggies in my office. It’s very eerie. LOL

Well, like normal, it was a highly stressful week and a lot was asked of me and my team...but we have come through with flying colors and should be ending the week on a high note!

Walking around with my LSU coffee cup in front of all my Aggie coworkers and talking about being at the game has been awesome

I retired a few months ago but my wife still works for the same company here in Houston. Just so happens the office has several LSU alumni- the Aggies in the office like the Longhorns earlier this year have endured constant humiliation! Ain't life grand!

I got back from Baton Rouge Tuesday and never said a word about the game. My Aggie colleague said something like, “Kinda like playing a high school team, huh?” I just shrugged it off like the game meant nothing—pretty sure that pissed him off real good.

They talked some S**t last year and during the year. I just keep my mouth shut and give them a glance and a smile.

Asked one of the Aggies at the office what he thought of the game and he claimed he didn't watch it because he knew what was going to happen. Weak.

I would be ecstatic if Baylor falls up into the four spot, only for us to crush them and claim an even stronger claim to the Texas State Championship

None of my Aggie friends expected they would win Saturday. I did get this amusing text during the game from one of them:

No one's been angry this week. They're good people.

Why did they pay $75 million to get a coach to lose the same amount of games they were losing with a coach getting paid half the amount.

Not a work story but last night I was at a gathering of about 75 men - kind of a bible study type thing at a local micro brewery and the speaker who is a friend of mine and also an Aggie was doing the whole Aggie “howdy” thing to start the meeting.

When he did all the Aggies (which was most of the room) Howdy’d back and then did their little “whoop” thing. I immediately, instinctively let out a big “Geaux Tigers!” That put an end to the Aggie crap.

It was pretty funny.

Couple baws had to slap an LSU sticker on their hard hats. One more unfortunate Texas based fan has worn LSU steel toes for approx. 3 months
