I’m OFFICALLY back on keto! I took a good long break and enjoyed eating some carbs. I will admit that my gym performance has been through the roof, but the sides from carbs isn’t worth it to me. I’m back BABY!

I was super impressed by the gut healing properties of keto. I ate like garbage and previously I was extremely lactose intolerant, but keto healed my gut microbiome and I had little to no issues during this interlude.

Feels good to be back on the right side of history.

I've been relatively strict keto since August 5th and this week and slowly ramping up the carbs to prepare for a 10 day cruise that leaves Saturday. I'll phase back into Keto after Christmas. It's been good to me. I've lost 65 pounds since I started.

I’m at the point so far in this winter of mass accumulation (Currently sitting at 200lb) that Keto seems like the move. Love the gains in strength I’ve made, but the jiggle is real. My clothes getting a bit too tight so might have to ride the Keto wave again till I’m back around 185. Sucks giving up carbs and shite but the results are proven so all it takes is the effort on my part.

Right. Started at a very obese 275, and I'm stabilizing around 210 today. I lost 35 pounds the first month and it has been much slower since then. Long term I think 185 is a healthy weight for my frame and excess skin now. We'll see when I get there, but I'm not rushing it.

But, this thread is about OWSA :)

You lost roughly 4 pounds per week. That’s a lot of weight loss. Make sure you’re still eating enough. It is possible to lose weight and it be unhealthy.

I've been off keto since April and have maintained eight well.

This past week was my all out shitfest of eating and drinking. I'm bloated as hell and all my joints hurt. I am ramping down the carbs starting today. January 6, I'll be back on full keto until I drop the rest of the weight I need to lose.

1 good thing about cycling off keto was learning how to maintain weight and what my body can do. If I go up a few pounds, I can lock it down for a week or 2 and be back where I want to be.

Sup my baw?

I'm sitting at 240 this morning. I know it will be 235 by Wednesday. My goal has been to hover b/t 230/235 through the holidays. Then, hit is hard. 210 is the goal now where 225 was the original goal.

Good deal man. I’ve been off keto since July. Was 185 bulked up pretty lean bulk to 210. Weight on the bar was going through the roof, but it was a chore to choke down the carbs and especially the protein.

1 day of 12/6 fasting, eating keto, and no alcohol.
I weighed in at 236 this morning. That's 4 lbs in 1 day. I still feel bloated. I'll be back to 231 by Friday. right where I need to be

I've been eating very low carb since May and I feel great, but in labs last week my total cholesterol and LDL were through the roof. Triglycerides were low enough (75), suggesting that this is the ok LDL. But damn, maybe it's eating too much cheddar cheese. Any wisdom on low carb diet spiking LDL?

Yes your way of viewing cholesterol is antiquated.
