Damon Payne brought his his 3-year-old daughter Dynver to Chuck E. Cheese Monday to celebrate her birthday. Payne recorded video of her meeting the mouse character, which shows her repeated reaching up to hug the character, who turns away and hugs other children. Payne can be heard in the video asking the character “You don’t see her?” and telling the employee “She’s right here.” Payne’s daughter is black and the only child of color in the video. He said the children receiving attention from the character are white.

Wait a sec, them kids were running up to mouse in the video. She wasn't going to run up to him? That's what I see.

Well frick. There is it, the employee can not force themselves onto children for hugs, that's why he let them come up to him.

I'd like to see if she had snot or pizza sauce on her hands/face.
Also, the video is way way too short to conclude much.
But, let's fire up the RACISSSSSSSS WAGON!!!

Only child of color in a Chuck E. Cheese in Metairie?

I don't know.
If I take what the father says at face value, then I would be pissed as well.
That said, without context and a video that starts half way through, I will reserve judgement.

Stereotypes exist for a reason

Exactly. The ones “receiving attention” ran up and hugged the mouse. The mouse waived at his daughter but that’s all he can do.
Fabricated outrage once again.

Well let's try to save the narrative here, maybe he's still secretly racist. That Queen Elizabeth type wave is Colonialist code for White Power. Very obvious, I read about it in my Gender Studies Class at UCLA.

I see nothing wrong with the video. He waited for her to approach him and..........
