Apparently you must tell kids the expensive gifts aren't from Santa b/c of poor people

Maybe mommy and daddy shouldn't procreate if they can't afford kids.

Just tell the poor kids that they must have been naughty.

The last line is one of the more passive-aggressive uses of 'Merry Christmas' I've seen so points to her for that.

A kid that still believes in Santa shouldn’t be getting iPads, iPhones, and 200 dollar toys

It would be simpler to never lie to kids about Santa in the first place. The inevitable truth about the Santa lie comes out eventually and then kids doubt other things parents tell them in the future.

Everyone knows Santa doesn’t bring poor kids expensive gifts because they would just get stolen.

I hate the Santa Claus bit. Glad only one is still a believer. Santa brings the little stuff, Daddy buys the good shite.

My parents always told me that they got a bill from Santa and had to pay for everything. Lol

Kept my asks in check a bit

Since when is the metric for affording kids the ability to purchase gaudy Christmas presents?

I agree with her. The expensive gifts come from mom and dad. The trinket stuff comes from Santa, I’m getting credit for my hard work
