Welcome to the It Factory 'When Life Gets Hard, Embrace It' (Ep.5)

I've seen a few posts/topics doubting if Myles Brennan can lead like Burrow does (it seems most agree about his arm talent). Whether Myles will be a good starting QB or a starter at all, or if he can lead like Burrow, I have no idea. I am also new to the site, so if this has been posted already, my apologies.

Anyway, I saw this video a few years back when he was participating in the Elite 11, and thought it would be worth sharing. All of the quarterbacks did combine style interviews. Myles starts at 9:30, but there is also some interesting stories of other current college QBs.

Man, what happened to Hunter Johnson? Pretty much every QB there said he was the most impressive.

I've been a huge fan of his ever since watching that interview. I hope he doesn't let me down. If he can study film and figure out how to read defenses, kid has the skills. I value leadership, accuracy, and toughness the most in my QB's traits. Good to see Myles be patient and mature and committed to LSU.

Jeezus H Christmas!!!!

Miles has had 3 years to wow us with something, “anything” in Spring game action, real game action, or mop up duty.

I understand that he’s been handcuffed by the coaching staff at end of game opportunities, but....

There is nothing, I mean absolutely Nothing, that he has done, that indicates he can take over next year without a severe decline in offensive production.

Absoluely nothing Burrow did last year had you thinking he would be the number 1 man in the draft and win the Heisman and lead a team to the number 1 CFP ranking and beat Alabama.

But here we are.

I will go back and look at through your posts to see where you predicted it

I can see him being similar to Burrow in his first year and hopefully a lot of progress from year 1 to 2 as the starter.

He’ll take some lumps next season but in 2021 he’s gonna set fire to the country.

Turn back the clock and you can say Burrow didn't "Wow" anyone at first.

Right or wrong, Matt Canada thought Brennan should start as a freshman. There's been a very small sample size to judge Brennan and consider this.

Last season people were wondering what was so special about grad transfer Burrow that was completing barely 50% of his passes in the old offense. The new offense is what Burrow ran in HS. Guess what, it is the same one Myles ran too. He'll get his chance to be the man next year and he'll do just fine.

Too programs have kids ready day 1, no slump. Have a 5 star back up to him. We need to be ready for anything

How many of you rantards have posted about his “lack of Touch,” patience or pocket presence on this board.

A dream without a plan is just a wish.

I hope I’m wrong and will gleefully eat crow, but, this guy couldn’t separate himself from the guys who transferred out.

He’s had some bad moments like all backups and freshman who are playing with 3rd stringers and walkons do but the guy saying he hasn’t seen a single sign of greatness is either lying or not paying attention. Brennan has displayed A+ arm strength, very good accuracy and I’ve never seen a freshman QB at LSU get through progressions faster than Brennan his first year behind Etling. If you go watch the replays, even in that archaic offense Brennan was hitting his 2nd, 3rd and checkdown options incredibly fast. Canada wanted to start him before Etling as a true freshman who weighed about 175lbs. He’s gonna he fine.

I hope I’m wrong, I’ll happily bend over for it.

And again, last season Burrow was a 50%+ QB and went 5 games without a TD pass. How many QB's come in and light it up in mop up duty with 2nd and 3rd stringers and a reduced play book? We will run a LOT next season with our RBs so we won't be throwing it 40+ times a game. You don't throw for 48 TDs and 3 INTs as a SR, no matter what the competition, if you aren't good.

Ask Joe Brady about Myles. It will be impossible to be as good as Burrow. Myles will do great. He has 4 first round draft picks to support him plus every one coming back. Fans will be very happy with Myles

no they don’t. Hurts had to transfer in, Fields had to transfer in, no one is behind Tua

That is just off the top of my head of top programs
