Georgia isnt that good, but LSU with conference game loss would and should get in over OU and any Pac10 school.

I almost wish Georgia loses to Auburn and A&M so I can go to the SECCG without paying $500 because Florida fans won’t travel and will lower demand.

But it was awesome crushing Georgia in 2011 and watching the fans run out of the Georgia Dome.

They could, but it creates really bad incentives if they know they're in win or lose prior to the championship game.

In 2017, Alabama didn't know that they were in if they lost to Auburn, but the way it worked out, they were better off losing to Auburn than beating Auburn.

When bama wins out and beats auburn handily, they will be in the playoff. This board will melt, but not nearly as much as the melt will be when they beat LSU in the playoff

I guess that could happen, but IF UGA wins, prices will go to $700 or maybe $800 for nosebleeds.

UGA controlling the corporate seats and the PSLs makes it hard when you play them to get a decent price.

They also can just roll in for the game and go home. No hotel saves a ton.

It’s tough that the best team in the nation has to play a road game at a neutral site, but maybe the LSU high rollers will surprise me and turn the dome purple and gold.

Normally the committee seems to value quality wins but since Bama lost we’ll see if we’re suddenly looking at quality losses. And eye tests.

No, Bama would get LSU's spot in that case.

As stupid as it sounds, this is the real answer. Bama is likely going to still be top 4 this week after how the game ended. They would jump us easily if we lost to UGA. They would have to or the committee would have to admit they are just placing teams to get the outcomes they want.

They should be; they deserve to be. The trouble is that they have no incentive in that game if they are automatically in. That artificially helps Georgia and harms the other teams. LSU has no business playing its starters more than a half if they are automatically in.
So the solution is to exclude Georgia even if they beat LSU: that South Carolina loss warrants that anyway.

this is why the playoff should be conference champions only

Hard to say if strength of schedule truly matters. Not sure 3-4 others have as many tough games in the season as LSU has had.

That's idiotic when it comes to who LSU has beaten this year.

this is retarded. There's value in winning an SEC Championship. Thinking they'd treat it as a scrimmage is retarded.
