Jawja is very good, so it's a distinct possibility. Would LSU get in over an OU and/or Oregon as conference champs?

No, Bama would get LSU's spot in that case.

If Georgia loses to Auburn and shows up to the SECCG with two losses, then LSU is in the playoff no matter what.

I doubt it. UGA is a better team.

It's a road game. Georgia will probably be like 3 point favorites. Georgia's shite offense won't move the ball against Auburn's defense and vice versa. Will be a defensive struggle.

they shouldn’t but that doesn’t mean Bama should get in

I never want a team that loses in November in the playoff

Yes.
Beating 4 top ten teams in the regular season with the Heisman winner 100% puts us in.

It would be a travesty if they didn't get in.

LSU has 4 quality wins and 0 losses.
Ohio State has 2 quality wins and 0 losses.
Minnesota has 1 quality win and 0 losses
Clemson has 0 quality wins and 0 losses.
Baylor has 0 quality wins and 0 losses.
Penn State has 2 quality wins and 1 good loss.
UGA has 2 quality wins and 1 bad loss.
Oklahoma has 1 quality win and 1 medium loss.
Alabama has 0 quality wins and 1 great loss.
Oregon has 0 quality wins and 1 good loss.
Utah has 0 quality wins and 1 medium loss.

Whoever wins the Pac 12 would have 1 quality win and 1 loss. LSU would have 4 quality wins and 1 loss.

Alabama would have 1 quality win if they can beat Auburn and 1 loss.

Oklahoma would have up to 4 quality wins if they beat Baylor, OK State, and whoever they play in the Big 12 title game but a worse loss and their ranked wins wouldn't be as impressive as LSU's.

The playoff would likely be 1) Ohio State 2) Clemson 3) UGA 4) LSU

I think it depends on if Georgia has one or two losses.

A one loss Georgia makes it in and LSU’s spot is dicey.

If Georgia loses to Auburn or A&M and wins the SEC with 2 losses they don’t make it in. That opens the door for 12-1 LSU or 11-1 Alabama. Which LSU would likely be taken.

It’s all a waste of time though because there’s no chance LSU loses to Georgia this season. Georgia is no where near dynamic enough to hang with LSU.

Can we stop these hypotheticals? There are way too many possible outcomes for all of the remaining contending teams to have any sort of real discussion about this. Every year, it’s not until right before conference championship games that the picture really starts to clear up, and even then it can be murky.

Maybe.

It’s sort of a road game unless LSU fans really travel well for this game.

Georgia controls their allotment plus most of the corporate tickets.

Ticket prices are going higher and higher, and IF the Bulldogs beat Auburn to clinch the east, the price of admission will be in record high territory. The Georgia fans will pay up for tickets because with no hotel or travel costs it’s $700 per ticket and they are in the dome for a home game with a chance at the playoff. Plus so many Dawgs in Atlanta.

I just hope the LSU fans have the chest to pull out the credit cards and keep a blackout from happening at the Dome.

Same thoughts as in 2011. If LSU loses that SECCG to UGA would the BCS have put in two one-loss teams that didn’t win their conference? Would have been amazing if the BCSCG was LSU vs Bama and SEC champ UGA was left out, though.

Yeah, if UGA has 2 losses, then it would be 1) Ohio State 2) Clemson 3) LSU 4) Up for grabs between Oklahoma, Pac 12 Champ, and Alabama. Normally I would say that Oklahoma would be a shoe-in with more quality wins, but you can never count out Bama getting in.
