You dont think he is already the greatest QB? I mean he broke the passing TD record with 4 regular season games left.

Yes, I do. With a 76% (plus) completion percentage and his touchdown to interception ratio, plus his leadership skills; I think he’s earned that title.

Beating Bama and winning the Heisman puts him in the conversation, no question about it.

If he does that AND leads this team to a NC, likely undefeated...I don’t see how anyone has a better argument

Heisman and a Natty, and I'd say yes.

If he wins the Heisman and the Natty, there is no doubt that some day Joe Burrow will have a statue at LSU. Would not be surprised if at some point his number is retired. Personally, I think retiring numbers is stupid. We’ve only got a finite few numbers so retiring of them is silly. However, “memorializing” #9 in some significant fashion can certainly be done. Like putting his name somewhere inside the stadium. We still have lots of work to do first.

All I know is this-

We are lucky to be witnesses to what is happening right now. Burrow is possibly going to have a statue outside of the stadium someday and we’ll all be able to say we watched him play.

Our offense is going to break all records and we’ll also be able to say we saw it happen.

It’s incredibly rare to ever get to witness greatness but we are

Good chance to

Win Heisman
Win Natty
Be #1 pick in draft.

Definitely has a chance to be the greatest tiger.

He will probably end up with the best stats of any Tiger in one season. Winning a championship would help too.

Greatest one year of any Tiger? YES.

Greatest Tiger of all-time? NO.

Longer career means something. Billy Cannon and Tommy Casanova have that over him.

Casanova 3x all American

Burrow might not be the best tiger on this team when Stingley is finished.

Being a qb does help his case though. Win a national championship and we’ll talk.

Without a doubt

Burrow wins the Heisman and he becomes THE Tiger legend. And, if he leads LSU to a NC, it’s indisputable.

Among them, without a doubt.

One thing's for sure, he'd never have to buy a drink or a meal in Louisiana for the rest of his life...
