IF Heisman+Natty, it will always be Cannon vs. Burrow. That ain't a bad argument to be a part of...

If LSU wins the National Championship, I will put him up there with Billy Cannon. He has already surpassed Bert Jones and JaMarcus Russell as the best QB we have ever had.

Too many great LSU players in the past! Borrow is the best QB in a long time. I hope we win the NC & hopes he wins the trophy!

Jeaux is good and I love him.....but Jim Taylor, Y.A. Tittle, Alvin Dark, Bert Jones, Patrick Peterson, Tommy Casavova, Billy Cannon....many, many...It's mind blowing.

Was way more talented than people realize. Dude was a ball hawk and played offense before switching to D.

Heisman

I do not think a championship is necessary to be declared the greatest player. Yes, by far Burrow has been the best player in LSU history or at least my life-time. That is including Rohan Davey who I thought was the best QB of all time at LSU.

Burrow wins the Heisman and he becomes THE Tiger legend. And, if he leads LSU to a NC, it’s indisputable.

Indisputable? For doing what another guy already did? Maybe you don't know this but Billy Canon won a national championship and won a Heisman at LSU.

Joe needs about 900 yards to move into second place career passing yards. Won’t catch Tommy at over 9K. In 2 years...he will definitely have a case for GOAT if he leads us to a Natty.

To me, he’s the best QB in LSU history. Hard to make the case he’s the best Tiger ever, since he was a transfer and only here 2 years. Greatest Tigers ever were recruited here and stayed their senior year to play.

Without Burrow I think we would have lost at least 3 games so far this year. His performance vs Texas, Florida, and Alabama won us those games. Give him the title!

I asked this question back in October. Clearly I am a prophet.
